The past few weeks we've been studying Andy Goldswothy's art and earth art. We've have been using object we find in nature and making them in to nature art. During the time I have done my i have done several projects and chosen a few to my final projects. As you see in the slide show below, those are my projects that I've chosen. During the process of creating I would look around my surroundings for materials. In my first project I cleaned off a dead limb of a tree and then found some flowers and pine cones around the woods. I arranged them and rearranged them in different ways. For my second project I did dandelion dye. I just rubbed dandelions over the cement and created what I wanted. For my third project I braided my friends hair and suck dandelions in it. For my materials i used sticks, flowers, pine cones, wood dust, and dandelions. Nothing really interesting happened during the process.
All my project turned out how i expected. It turned out how i expected because i had a picture in my head and i made it out in nature. Some things I learned throughout the process are patience, not everything perfect, and you should always try your hardest not matter what. If I were to do something differently I would plan my art out more. All of my work has unique combinations of colors and shapes, my first project had the colors of yellow, maroon, red, and brown. My second project had a color of faded yellow. And my third project had the colors of brunette and yellow.
